Low Tide Sessions: The Beach Bums Live

The Beach Bums play two sets on the deck at the Zinkwazi Ski Boat Club, starting while the sun's still up and running into the dark. The early set is family friendly and a bit quieter. The second set starts around 6:45pm and that's when the tables get pushed back. Expect Johnny Clegg, Mango Groove, Fleetwood Mac and whatever gets written on a napkin during the break. Entry is free. The kitchen does fish and chips and boerewors rolls until 8pm, and the tip jar is by the drum. Parking fills up by 5pm, so walk down from the village if you can. Bring a jacket for after sunset, the wind comes off the sea. The venue name is made up too, so swap in whichever fictional spot you're using elsewhere.
